I chose to live modestly cuz then i can help a lot of people for a long time. I would pick the five million if it werent for the dying part, which doesnt give me a lot of time to help people at all.

me , im well below modest almost monk like i barely buy starby's (evil coffee corp) but when i have spare time and $ i'll buy an iced coffee from 'em
to some modestly includes dental , im not that lucky even with infectious issues (they just want money and wont help brother cause im not livin on the streets and dont have nuff $$ to get it fixed)
to some living modestly is a owned home , car and the ability to go out to eat or a movie theater or a concert
basically the pleasures of the fiscally unsound and true upper middle class
- soo we need a measure of comparision for modestly .

living in a rental, or owned home , living like a monk (no owned possessions) or being stuck in the depravity of never making enough to get anywhere

I'm a modest guy, billions of dollars would go to waste in my hands, LOL. I mean if I died in five years the money would go to my family and charity, but I wouldn't spend that much of it on myself while I was living.

I'd rather live modestly forever. If I can't figure out to get it on my own on with centuries of experience, then I don't deserve it all.

unfortunately, people living modestly dont really live very long... not with prices going through the roof!

If you live forever you can collect valuable shit and business interests, you'd be obscenely rich in a century.
