The Business

Well, you can either congratulate or hate me, I've joined the corporate world. What does this mean? Long-term, it means that I shouldn't struggle for money, and given this economy, I'm grateful. Short-term, it means that the art (which is already suspiciously absent) will be fewer and farther between. I've been feeling for a while that I need to man up and take responsibility for my life and I believe I'm finally doing that. I've also been reevaluating my wants, needs, and goals and while I will never stop making art, I think I need to pause for a moment and, like my buddy Kev said, "get back to basics." Essentially, whatever I do post here probably won't be anything finished or polished but rather sketches and comps and ideas for future projects. I hope to remain active on this site because it truly is something that has made my life much richer. Engaging creatively with all of you has definitely been a joy! So here's to taking the next step!

Ahh. Very corporate! I used to work in Insurance... Very different atmosphere than anything I was used to, with completely different sets of rules. Rewards are small, risks are many. Best of luck man!
