Ok here it is! The big bad mama-jamma color tutorial. I tried to make this thing as complete as humanly possible and include all of your suggestions at the same time. Hopefully my little road map is easy to follow and understand. Also, this is the complete tutorial, but there is an addendum on using Corel Painter that will be added separately. I really hope you guys enjoy this thing and please let me know if you use, cuz I'd love to see what you come up with! Dig.

I'd love to color like you but it asks so much time and technique, and I'm still tryi,g to get better pêncils too that I'm sure you won't be put out of job!

Okay I've got one question. I've been able to follow everything in this tutorial pretty well but there's one thing that leaves me hung up.
You said you added a black border around everything to hide the misc. lines, I try to do that and all it ends up doing is turning everything behind the ink work completely black; it leaves my picture looking like a silhouette in a poorly lit room!
I'm sure I'm missing some trivial little thing that should be obvious, but it's driving me bonkers. What am I doing wrong?

As I begin coloring I'm finding that all my colors remain opaque, almost as if I've got the opacity at 20%. But I don't, it's all the way up, and I can't figure out why my colors are remaining so watery.

Your pencils are really, really good. And I hope you know I'm not just saying that to butter you up -- they really are good. As far as color goes, we all do what we can with the gifts we're given.
